FAWLAW is pleased to announce that it marked its fifth anniversary in February 2016.  Over the last five years, we have been recognized by various organizations for our remarkable success in antitrust and patent litigation matters throughout the country.  While we are proud of our achievements, we do not rest on them.  We constantly strive to meet and overcome the challenges our clients face, and to advance the development and understanding of the law through our work and thought leadership.

Going forward, we will post commentary on current legal issues, as well as news about the firm.  As its first announcement, FAWLAW extends its congratulations to associate Rachel Kinney and her husband Stevenson, who recently welcomed their first child. Congratulations, Rachel!

FAWLAW lawyers are regular speakers on important current legal topics.  Recent and upcoming speaking engagements include a March 10, 2016 webinar in which partner Bob Freitas discussed current developments in cases addressing the Foreign Trade Antitrust Improvement Act (“FTAIA”).  On March 23, 2016, partner Jason Angell spoke at the Patent Disputes for Our Time: New Realities, New Approaches conference sponsored by the Intellectual Property Law Section of the State Bar of California at the San Francisco State Bar Offices on a panel discussing issues and strategies facing small companies in patent litigation with non-practicing entities.  Stay tuned for announcements of additional speaking engagements and other FAWLAW news.
